Routine is the key word right now. Living on a small farm with critters means you need routine to make them happy, and that makes me happy. I have to say, everyone is happy right now! I'm playing with the cats as I write this and drink coffee while listening to some Joy Division. Plus there was the first snowfall of the season, so woot and cheers to the white. I really like winter by the way, for real! Putting on my winter bibs and tromping around in waist high snow makes me feel good.
To divert from the snow, I want to use this blog to remind everyone that I am taking soap share orders. If you order within the next week I can guarantee it to be ready for Christmas time. So you have until November 8th to put in orders. My soap shares are great gifts. You choose how long you want your share to last, and every month you get three bars sent to you in the mail. Or you can choose to get the packages sent to a different recipient. I make goat milk soaps with different scents and combinations of dried herbs/flowers. My big seller is the black soap made with activated charcoal and tea tree oil scent. Plus you are helping support a critically endangered goat breed called the San Clemente Island goats. Their milk goes into the soaps I make, along with producing enough milk for home use drinking, baking, and cheese making!
Here is a link for the soap shares. Check out the rest of my items for sale in the store section. I don't have a whole lot to offer at the moment, but you can always send me and email if you have any questions.
